Getting around the map
You start with a car and a phone-style menu. Open the minimap and click a marked location (or a quest's yellow star) to get a route. The September 20 update added a quick travel button at the top left that jumps to garages and junkyards. It has a cooldown, it does not work while you are in a vehicle, and since September 26 it costs a small amount of Cash. For short trips, driving is still free.
Servers hold up to 12 players, so shops with lifts can be busy. A player in one video found every Tire Zone machine taken and had to wait. If that happens, do your paint first and come back.
Workshops and shops
| Location | What you do there | Full guide |
|---|---|---|
| Nando's (mechanic / auto repair shop) | Put the car on a lift and repair or replace parts such as the engine, radiator and brakes. | Repair guide |
| Tire Zone | Swap rims and tires and adjust fitment. Some players skip it on cheap flips, but worn tires cost value. | Wheels, tires and suspension |
| Customs shop (heard as Los Alamos Customs) | Polish away rust, paint panels, choose materials, plates, tint, underglow, horns, and hide hoods. | Paint shop guide |
| Car Zone | Buy engines, gearboxes and other parts off the shelves; new engines and transmissions appear here after updates. | Engines and turbos |
| Tuning shop | ECU and gear tuning, added in the August 30 tuning update. | Tuning guide |
| Garage purchase points | Buy extra garages. New cars go into your best garage with free space, and you keep every garage you own. | Garages guide |
The August 16 update log listed plate customisation for everyone, and the option now sits in the customs menu. Before that, early players found an NPC near the start offering custom plates. Either way, plates are cosmetic and do not add resale value as far as anyone has shown.
Where to buy cars
| Location | What it offers | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Starter junkyard | Cheap rusty cars; where the tutorial sends you. | Best for your first flips. |
| Regional, Industrial and Elite junkyards | Added September 20. Higher yards have better chances of rare cars. | Zach offers paid rerolls at the Industrial yard. See the junkyard guide. |
| Auction area | Cash auctions and premium (key) auctions. | Random outcomes; see the auctions guide. |
| Luxury dealership: Cars & Bids | Ginger runs hourly player bidding on a car, added October 3. | You see the car before you bid. |
| Store (Robux) | Limited cars and a starter pack. | See limited cars and game passes. |
Named NPCs
| NPC | Where | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Juan | The sell spot (drive into the marked area, then talk to him) | Buys any car. Opens with an offer you can decline or negotiate; he greets you with "Hola amigo." |
| Rick | Auction area | Quick-buys your car on the spot. Guides call his offers undervalued. |
| Mr. Lupin | Luxury car dealership (marked on the minimap) | Buys Tier 4 and Tier 5 cars only and pays more for them. His offer can expire, but you can request a new one. |
| Ginger | Luxury car dealership | Runs the Cars & Bids system. |
| Zach | Industrial junkyard | Sells junkyard rerolls. |
| Riley | Out in the world | Chats with you but does not buy cars. |
One older video calls the main buyer "Joan". Later first-session videos show the NPC saying his name as Juan, so we use that. Selling strategy, including when to negotiate and when to walk away, is in the selling guide.
Side activities: Carl's Jr., driving and speed traps
- Carl's Jr. cleaning job: sweep and mop the floor for a small payment. One guide put it at roughly 100 Cash and called it the least efficient money method. It is useful only when you are broke and cannot afford a junkyard car.
- Driving to earn: you earn a trickle of Cash while driving around. It pays slightly more than Carl's Jr. but far less than flipping. The VIP pass is reported to add 10% to driving and sale earnings.
- Speed traps: listed in the August 16 update log. Passing one at speed pays a small reward and is a handy way to compare builds. Creators use them to test new engines.
- Tasks and quests: daily tasks and weekly quests (for example selling a set number of vehicles) give rewards including Premium Auction Keys. Check the tasks menu each session.
Macros or exploits to farm these activities can get you banned. Video guides warned against them, and Roblox's rules apply.
A first-session route
- Redeem any working code from the codes page in the shop menu.
- Drive to the starter junkyard and buy the most expensive car you can still afford to repair.
- Take it to Nando's and bring the important parts up to about 90% condition.
- Visit Tire Zone if the tyres are badly worn, then the customs shop to polish and paint.
- Drive to the sell spot and negotiate with Juan. Repeat, moving up to the Regional and higher yards as your net worth grows.
This route matches the loop most early guides recommend. The beginner guide and money guide explain the reasoning.
