Why the game uses fictional badges
Cars in Junk Mechanics are modelled on real cars but carry fictional badges. In an August update video a creator spotted that a Porsche-style car wore Ferdinand badges in game, and the Store sells cars named Cobra and Bull. YouTube creators usually say the real-world name, so you will see both in guides. The table below lists badge names we could tie to a source.
| In-game name | Looks like | Confidence | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ferdinand | Porsche (for example a GT3 RS-style car) | High | Badge read on camera, August 16; a creator also pulled a "Ferdinand RS3" from an auction on October 5. |
| Cobra RT500 | Ford Mustang GT500 | Medium | Store item name; matches the GT500-style limited added August 16. |
| Bull (SRT, Pursuit Hellhack) | Dodge | Medium | Store item names; Bull Pursuit Hellhack matches the Charger Hellcat-style limited. |
| Mercer | Mercedes-Benz | Medium | Heard in two videos for rare Mercedes-style cars. |
| Pegaso Tornado | Lamborghini Huracán | Low | Heard once in an October 5 video; spelling unconfirmed. |
Robux shop limiteds
| Car | Price (Robux) | Listed since | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cobra RT500 | 399 | August 16, 2026 | Shown with twin turbos and a supercharger in a tuning walkthrough; reached about 358 km/h tuned. |
| Bull Pursuit Hellhack | 799 | September 18, 2026 | Arrived with the Junkyard + Limited update; a supercharged Hemi-style V8 was shown under the hood. |
Both are marked as limited in the in-game shop, but a creator noted on October 2 that there is no countdown showing when they go off sale, and the Cobra had already been available for about seven weeks. Gift versions are also sold.
Auction-only and Cars & Bids cars

| Bolide 346 junk edition (as heard) | Not stated | Auction-only, described as extremely rare | August 10, 2026 |
| Mercer TK-LT (as heard) | Not stated | Described as extremely rare in auctions | August 10, 2026 |

The October 3 videos also reported that odds were raised for some auction cars that previously sat at around 0.01%. Odds are shown in game before you open an auction, so check them yourself; we do not republish a table because it changes with updates. How auctions and Cars & Bids work is explained in the auctions guide.
Remodels and previews
Cars are sometimes remodelled after release. On September 26 a mid-engine R8-style supercar was remodelled with a new interior and options to remove the frunk and engine glass. Content creators were also shown previews of an LFA remodel with an interior and a widebody kit for the Trackhawk-style SUV.
Should you chase a limited or exclusive car?
| Situation | Advice |
|---|---|
| You love a specific shop limited | Buy it once if it fits your budget. There is no resale, so do not buy it as an investment. |
| You want an auction-only Tier 5 | Use free keys first and set a hard limit. Some players spend millions of Cash without success. |
| You want a rare car to sell | Junkyard Tier 4–5 spawns in the Industrial and Elite yards are a steadier route; see how to get Tier 5. |
| You want a fast car cheaply | Swap and tune a junkyard car; see the engines guide and tuning guide. |
Creators have asked the developers for trading. Until it exists, a rare car's value to you is the fun of owning it, or what Mr. Lupin pays if it is Tier 4 or 5.
