How to Get Tier 5 Cars in Junk Mechanics

Tier 5 cars are the rarest and most valuable vehicles in Junk Mechanics. There is no guaranteed route, but some routes give you far more chances per hour than others. This page compares every method players use as of October 2026 and gives a plan for free players, Cash-rich players and Robux spenders.

Quick answer

Farm the better junkyards for free, spend free keys on premium auctions, and use Cars & Bids when you want a known car

Since September 20 the Industrial and Elite junkyards advertise better spawn chances for rare cars, so wait and flip there once you can afford their cars. Speed up spawns with the buy-and-quick-sell respawn trick or paid rerolls (neither changes your luck). Premium auctions are reported to have the best Tier 5 odds, so spend every free Premium Auction Key there. Some Tier 5s, including the CLK-style and LFA-style cars, became auction-only on October 3, so a junkyard can never give you those.

What makes a Tier 5 hard to get

Cars in Junk Mechanics are grouped from Tier 1 to Tier 5, and the in-game index colour-codes them so you can see each car's tier. Tier 1–3 cars are the everyday flips. Tier 4 and Tier 5 cars are rare, sell for the most at Mr. Lupin's luxury dealership, and are the reason most players open auctions at all.

Junkyard spawns run on a timer, and a Tier 5 is a small slice of those spawns. Auctions roll from a prize pool where rare cars have low odds. That leaves you two levers: more rolls per hour, and better odds per roll. Every method below pulls one of those levers. None of them guarantees a Tier 5.

The respawn trick and rerolls only add spawns. The creator who popularised the trick was explicit that it does not increase your luck. The odds per car come from which junkyard you are in.

The junkyard route in detail

  1. Build up Cash with normal flips until you can afford cars in the Industrial junkyard, then the Elite junkyard. The junkyard guide explains each yard.
  2. Stand where you can see the spawn spots. When a car spawns, the notification tells you which junkyard it appeared in, and rare spawns are announced in chat.
  3. If the yard is full of cars you do not want, buy the cheapest and quick-sell it to trigger an extra respawn.
  4. When a Tier 4 or Tier 5 appears, buy it immediately; other players in the server can take it.
  5. Restore and paint it, then sell it to Mr. Lupin or keep it for your collection.

Quick travel (added September 20, paid since September 26) makes it faster to hop between yards and garages, but it has a cooldown and you cannot use it while sitting in a car.

The auction route in detail

Premium auctions are the method community guides rank first for raw Tier 5 odds. They need Premium Auction Keys: free from some codes and from daily and weekly tasks, or bought in the Store from 99 Robux for one key to 2,999 Robux for fifty. The game itself warns that auctions are not meant to be profitable.

Cash auctions are the free-to-play gamble. In a recorded September session one player started with about 5 million Cash and opened auction after auction; they came away with two Tier 5s and a few Tier 4s, but also a pile of low-value cars, and spent millions doing it. That is a realistic picture of the variance.

Remember that, as of October 3, the CLK-style and LFA-style Tier 5s are auction-only, and a Huracán-style car arrived through premium auctions and Cars & Bids. If you want one of those specific cars, the junkyard route cannot give it to you. Full details are in the auctions guide.

Sources and how this page was checked

Methods come from a dedicated Tier 5 video (September 4, 2026), the Junkyard update video (September 21), the Cars & Bids update videos (October 3 and 5) and a recorded cash-auction session (September 14). Reroll and key prices are read from the Roblox Store on October 5, 2026. Exact spawn and drop rates are not published in a stable place, so we compare methods by chances and cost, not by percentages.
