Buy the most expensive rusty car you can afford in the Junkyard.
Repair the engine, radiator, tires, and other damaged parts at Nando's mechanic shop (about 85-90% condition).

You cannot see what to repair

Get out of the car on Nando's lift, click the hood, and equip the notebook. It lists each part's health so you know what to pull.

Your sale offer is lower than a video showed

Offers depend on the car, its condition and paint. Repair to about 85–90%, paint every panel, and negotiate once or twice with Juan.

You are out of Cash

Drive around to earn a little, or take the Carl's Jr. cleaning job until you can afford a cheap junkyard car again.

Avoid

Common first-session mistakes

Quick-selling to Rick

Rick's instant offer is reported to be close to the rusty price. Sell finished cars to Juan, or to Mr. Lupin for Tier 4–5.

Skipping paint

Money guides agree unpainted cars sell for noticeably less. Polishing and painting only takes a few minutes.

Spending everything on auctions

The game warns auctions are not meant to be profitable. Use free keys and keep your Cash for flips.
