Information we collect
Information you send us. If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address and message. We use it only to reply and to fix the page you reported.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the site and the third-party services it uses receive technical information when you load a page: your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, the date and time of the visit, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes this information to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
We do not collect your Roblox username, password or account details, and you should never send them to us.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and device identifiers. The site itself does not set cookies for its own features, but the analytics and advertising services described below do. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking them does not stop the site from working, but you may see less relevant ads.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-L7NSSW1MF8) to count visits and see which guides are useful. Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga to distinguish visitors and records pages viewed, time on page, device and approximate location. We do not use it to identify individuals and we do not combine it with other data about you. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising, including Google AdSense
The site is funded by advertising so that the guides can stay free. Ads are served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons and IP addresses to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure performance and detect fraud.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (also available through My Ad Center).
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.
- Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. We do not control the cookies that Google and its partners set, and we do not receive personal information from them beyond aggregated reports. We do not show ads on this policy page or our other trust pages (About, Contact, Terms, Disclosure, Sources).
Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, personalised advertising and non-essential cookies require your consent. We show Google ads to these visitors only together with a consent management platform (CMP) certified by Google and integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, which asks for your choices before personalised ads or advertising cookies load. You can change or withdraw consent at any time through the privacy or cookie settings link shown by the consent message. If you do not consent, Google may still show non-personalised ads, which use cookies only for purposes such as frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are your consent (for advertising and analytics cookies) and our legitimate interest in running and securing the site (for server logs). You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal data about you, to object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
Visitors in the United States
We do not sell personal information for money. Some US state laws treat sharing data with advertising partners for cross-context behavioural advertising as a "sale" or "sharing". You can opt out by using the Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info links above, by enabling a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, or by blocking third-party cookies.
Children's privacy
Roblox is popular with younger players, but this site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not ask for any. In line with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has sent us personal information, please email us at contact@junkmechanicswiki.wiki and we will delete it promptly. Parents may also find our parents' guide useful for setting up Roblox's own controls.
Data retention
Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and are normally deleted within 12 months. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically. Hosting and security logs kept by Cloudflare are retained according to Cloudflare's policies. Advertising partners retain data according to their own policies.
Third-party links
Our guides link to Roblox, YouTube, Discord, news sites and other external pages so you can check our sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Please read their policies before giving them any information.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when we add or remove services. The date at the top shows the latest revision; this version is effective from October 5, 2026. For privacy questions or requests, email us at contact@junkmechanicswiki.wiki. Please do not include Roblox account passwords or other sensitive information in your message.
