Junk Mechanics is published on Roblox by the verified group Oil Leak. We have no relationship with Oil Leak or Roblox Corporation, we receive no information from them before the public does, and nothing on this site is an official announcement. When we describe official facts (such as Store prices or event dates), we link to the Roblox page we read them from.

How the site is funded

The site is free to read and is funded by display advertising. Ads are served by Google AdSense. We are paid based on ad views or clicks, not by game developers, YouTube creators or code sites.

• We do not accept payment to include, rank or praise any game item, creator or website.
• We do not use affiliate links, sponsored posts or paid placements in our guides.
• We do not use pop-up, pop-under, redirect or "smart link" ad formats.
• Ads appear in clearly separated slots, never disguised as guide content, buttons or download links.
• Our Privacy, Terms, Disclosure, About, Contact and Sources pages carry no ads.

Editorial independence

Advertisers have no say in what we write. Our guides discourage spending on random auctions and explain Robux prices plainly, even though that does nothing for ad revenue. If we ever change how the site is funded, we will update this page.

We credit the YouTube creators and news sites whose work we use as sources, and we link to their original pages. Linking to a creator is not an endorsement of everything they publish.
