Every garage at a glance
| Garage | How you get it | What a creator found inside |
|---|---|---|
| Starter garage | Free at the start | Small space for about three cars, a few toolboxes and tires. |
| Medium garage | Cash, at the garage shop (425,000 during an August sale) | Shelves, spare parts, cabinets, bins, a workstation with a toolbox and a computer. |
| Specialist garage | Cash, the most expensive Cash garage | Room for many more cars, four lifts, a workstation, and glass panels that show the underside of cars on the lifts. |
| Premium Garage | Game pass, 399 Robux in the Store | Added in late August and visible on the map since then. |
Prices for Cash garages were not shown again in later videos, and the medium garage was on sale when it was filmed, so check the price at the garage shop before saving up.
How buying a garage works
A common first mistake is driving to a garage and trying to walk in. Garage doors do not sell you anything. Instead, go to the garage shop building nearby; inside you can see your current garage and buy the next one. The confirmation prompt explains the two rules that matter:
- You keep every garage you own. Buying a bigger one does not remove the old one.
- New cars are stored in your best garage with free space. If your best garage is full, new cars go to the next one.
That means upgrading never loses you storage. It also means your newest cars may not end up where you expect if your favourite garage is full.
Moving cars between garages
- Walk up to the car you want to move with your wrench equipped.
- Hold the wrench on the car to open its options.
- Choose move vehicle to another garage and pick the destination.
- Repeat for each car. The car is moved, so you do not have to drive it across the map.
Creators use this to put their best cars on the specialist garage's lifts for screenshots, or to collect everything in one garage. Quick travel (top left of the screen, added September 20 and paid since September 26) can take you between garages, but not while you are sitting in a car.
Choosing where you spawn
Before September, a creator's testing suggested you spawned in the garage holding most of your cars, which was confusing. The September 12 update added a setting: open Settings and choose your spawn garage (starter, medium, specialist, or the default).
A practical choice is to spawn at the garage closest to the junkyard you farm most. If you mostly work on keepers, spawn in the specialist garage so your lifts and workstation are right there.
Which garage should you buy next?
| Your play style | Suggestion | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Pure flipping | Stay in the starter garage for now | Flips leave quickly; spend Cash on better junkyard cars instead. |
| Starting a collection | Medium garage | More storage without the top price. |
| Collector and builder | Specialist garage | Most space, plus four lifts for working on keepers. |
| Spending Robux | Premium Garage pass (399 Robux) | Extra storage without spending Cash; compare it with VIP in the game pass guide. |
